There is not greater joy than being able to capture the fraction of a second where a memory exist. from the golden light of a sunrise in Spain, the delicate vibrancy of colors that lies in the exoskeleton of the smallest creatures, to the expression of happiness two loved ones reunited after a long time apart, there are no glimpse of life I don't like to capture.

Two decades of Artistic vision
Over the past two decades, Jonathan Maurel has followed an unconventional and deeply personal artistic path — beginning as a classically trained painter at the École des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, before taking his work to the streets as a bold and expressive street artist. Merging fine art foundations with raw urban energy, his practice evolved in public spaces, where impermanence and improvisation became part of the creative process. Now based in Austin, Texas, Jonathan has transitioned into photography, bringing with him the trained eye of a painter and the instinct of a street artist. His images reflect a layered vision shaped by years of experimentation, storytelling, and a relentless pursuit of authenticity across mediums.
